Its very simple easy to use plugin for owners, i always try to develop very easy plugins for blog owners, coz i believe most of blogger are not very much tech savvy.
New version updated on wordpress.org. All users please update your old plugins (6 August 2009)
By this plugin you guy’s can display ads on your website and earn some $$$$, not need to hire any developer to fix google adsense or other ads on your website any more.Â
Installation Instructions
1. unzip file and upload file “google-adsense.php” into your /wp-content/plugins/.
2. Go to your plugins page and activate plugin.
3. Go to Settings/options >> “google Adsebse ads” tab to update your ads code to display on your site, where you want.
4. Can be use any type of ads codes not only google adsense.
5. add <?php DisplayAds(); ?> on your sidebar.php or any other page to display ads.
6. you can pass varibles. this is default setting <?php DisplayAds($type = ´SideBar´) ?> for side bar adsIf you like this plugin, please leave your comments.

I’m trying to get the ads to work. Where EXACTLY in the .php files do I post the code, and do I do both or just one in the .php files? I pasted them in the sidebar1.php area, and it did not work, but I only did one at a time, should I do both?
How do I get the banner ads to show up above my header? Where do I paste the code exactly? Thanks.

you need to active plugin, paste google adsense/or any other site banner codes.
on theme pages, please add codes like this any where under
for content top banners
< ?php DisplayAds($type = 'contenttop') ?>
for siteside banners
< ?php DisplayAds($type = 'SideBar') ?>

ok..this did not work for me. I added tag in wordpress/wp-content/themes/purpleaura/sidebar.php. I have also activated the plugin as per instructions..i am not getting an error..just no content. I am using wordpres 2.8.1..how long will should it take before the ads show up..i assumed instantly. thank you for your help in advance

it doesnt problem you have other name sidebars. where you will add plugins code. adsense display there.
have you activate plugin from wp-admin ???

Amanda, you need to install that.. and add google adsense or others.. then you need to past < ?php DisplayAds($type = 'SideBar') ?> or < ?php DisplayAds() ?>

You have MORE than THREE google adblocks showing on THIS PAGE. I see four! This can cause you to LOSE your google account. Best be careful, especially if you did this with your plugin.

I’ve tried both codes which you mentioned above in my side par under the wordpress editor, but it just didn’t come out.
How about doing a print-screen shots or video tutorial to show us how it’s done?
